Google Slams Boies Schiller-Repped ‘Incognito Mode’ Suit

Law360 (August 21, 2020, 7:45 PM EDT) — Boies Schiller Flexner LLP-backed Google users based their putative privacy class action on “a willful misreading” of the company’s private viewing mode disclosures, the search giant said Thursday in a California federal court bid to dismiss.

Google LLC argued that its so-called “Incognito Mode” is clear that it does not make user’s actions invisible and that it merely helps users conceal their browsing activity from other people who use their devices.
