Law360 (June 10, 2020, 10:54 PM EDT) — The national governing body for competitive swimming has been hit with three lawsuits in California state courts alleging the organization was negligent while coaches sexually abused child swimmers in the 1980s and ’90s.

In suits launched in late May and early June, a group of women accuse USA Swimming of looking the other way and otherwise enabling sexual abuse of swimmers by three coaches.
